Mime Theater Workshops: Students learn basic mime illusions, character development, and story building techniques, then create and share their mime stories with the rest of the class. Mime Theater Workshops build self-esteem, confidence, coordination, group sensitivity, and the ability to follow directions. All levels No experience necessary

Mime for Performing Artists: offers an opportunity to explore performance from a new perspective. Robert Rivest helps performers of all genres increase movement vocabulary, emotional range, and awareness of their habit patterns. Participants will explore comic and dramatic mime theater technique, composition, and improvisation. Individual and group assignments and critique included.

Teacher Workshops/In-service: A fun, light-hearted way to explore movement, expression, and clear, effective non-verbal communication methods. Robert demonstrates how to use mime to enhance classroom learning and offers useful follow-up suggestions. Single 45-60 minute workshop, half or full-day in-service options available.

Mindful Movements for Stress Reduction: is a playful blend of relaxing mime movements, nature imagery, and mindful breathing. Participants learn a unique warm-up that reenergizes the body, quiets the mind, and relieves tension.
